What a summer it has been....

Wow - where did the summer go? It has been a whirlwind - a tiring and daunting one, but an utterly fantastic one at the same time.
We have had the best time here on our paradise and slightly bonkers island. It was a tough start and a steep learning curve, but it has genuinely been fun all the way even during the long days of Alderney Week! The team have got into the spirit of island life and done everything from owning a boat; seeing and motoring alongside a rare pod of dolphins; lobster and crab potting; catching fish after fish; parenting chickens and an allotment; daft raft races; sea-kayaking; quarry and bunker parties; long beach days and BBQs; falling into the obligatory bramble bush; and getting weirdly addicted to squash! In our eyes you can’t get much better than that. We love you Alderney!
Thank you everyone for all your support and your patience with us when we first started. We hope you have all enjoyed it at The Georgian this summer, we certainly have! We look forward to getting stuck in next year (after a few powdery turns in the Alps of course) and seeing you all then for what will be an even bigger and better summer.
Love The Georgian House Team x
